Comfy Thin Beanie for Giant Head
All the beanies/skull caps I try on are way to tight on my head. Need something for 25-35 degrees. Any suggestions?

I have a big head, not sure if it's giant. Anywho, my favorite lighter weight hats are the reversible ones from Smartwool, they cover the ears and fit under a helmet nicely - https://www.rei.com/product/191707/s...ersible-beanie

A neck gaiter can be worn like a beanie with a vent. If you run hot, but need to cover your ears and forehead while allowing some heat to escape, that's the answer.

I have one made from Alpaca. Can be hard to find but a very comfy alternative to regular wool. Also, if you truly have a giant head and can't get a fit, you might try fashioning something by cutting a leg off women's tights. They come in some really large sizes and a variety of fabrics.

I wear an old firefighter's balaclava that I have from a past life. They are designed to be worn under a helmet. It is something like this one:

I wear a cheap cotton bandanna and pull it over my ears and it's actually fine down to 32 degrees which is my limit. If I warm up I just push it up over my ears. I may buy a merino wool one.
