Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sorry. Other activities today. I know it's disappointing not to know the news, but you should see the lawn.

Wilier USA advertises di 2 for 9,000, however if I could get it with sram force it would be 8,000. I even am now leaning towards the zero SL. With sram or chorus it would be 7,000 which would leave money over for a computer, power meter and trainer. Unfortunately I can’t find one anywhere.

Not that I need to rush, but getting permission from the wife one has to act before she changes her mind.

Allied echo interest me a lot, just doesn’t have the aero I was hoping for, but maybe that’s not as important? Thoughts?
I find aero on a road bike to be overrated in most situations. Having a bike you can actually ride is, well, very importnte.

Especially these days, if you like bike you can actually get now, I'd get it now. Waiting might mean no bike.

You take dog drugs but that doesn't mean @datlas prescribes them to his patients.

The 27.0 is the Ironman frameset. I really don't like the paintjob. I might yet repaint it and build it up. But why? I've got two very nice roadbikes. Plus, I'd have to find somewhere to put it when not being used.

I don't know why you say it doesn't make sense, it makes as much sense as any other cycling event.

And there's no chance I could get anywhere near that record, but I doubt you have a million you'd give me if I could.

I could come up with a million grains of sand. You'd have to take my word for it.
4k translates to 4 thousand. How does that relate to a bike race?

Ivermectin is approved for humans. I learned about it in the parasitology section of my microbiology class, might have regurgitated it on Part 1 of the National Board Exam, and forgot about it until this year. I would love to forget about it again, but I’m not optimistic.

Even at that, I wouldn’t compromise my wish list much if spending $8 or 9k. This bike shortage will end sooner rather than later.

Things are looking up for the Pirates. Hopefully they can hold on to win.

Have you never heard of a 5k or 10k run, or anything similar? It's exceedingly common.

It seems I might be able to find my BF password, stored in my computer. Unfortunately, every place I've been so far askes me for my password, to prove it's me. The most recent place informed me that I have 6, count'em six BF accounts. My password was required in order to continue.

Now that you mention it, I do remember that, from the far distant past. I used to run 10 ks. Thanks for clearing that up.
