New Wahoo Elemnt bug
The old Elemnt, monochrome. Not the new Roam color.
There is a setting in the app (which worked great for a few years) to allow notifications from your phone to your Wahoo. It's nice to see who is calling, or get a txt so I don't have to lose my draft just to hear, "pickup dinner."
But recently, the setting won't stick. Works ok, but if I close the app and reopen for next ride, I have to retoggle. There are few internet work arounds, which don't work and Wahoo said " This is an issue we are aware of and we have opened an internal ticket with our development team to investigate and resolve the problem."
Anyone figured it out?

No one else, huh?
Ok, I got an updated response from Wahoo. They instructed me to update the phone app and it should work. Problem is, 30 degrees and light snow outside. I'll play around with it while watching basketball and see what happens.

1) With several computers across three different brands (including Wahoo), I have found that notifications are always dodgy. Right now, I am trying to get my brand new Garmin Edge 1040 to show notifications, with (so far) no luck.
2) Your Elemnt is, in cycle computer age, a senior citizen. I'm not surprised that a feature doesn't reliably work any longer. I mean, if they keep the software current, where is your incentive to buy a new computer from them?

Also go look in the Bluetooth settings.
Look for the Paring of the "ELEMNT BOLT" and ensure "Share System Notifications" is enabled.
At lease thats what an iPhone calls that setting.

Yea..all that was set. The problem was that if I closed the app, the settings did not stay. I updated the app, and they seem to hold now. Phone calls worked, but emails did not. That is not so big a concern for me, as those are rarely important or time sensitive. Calls and txts are.
