FS: 1975 Motobecane 52cm Grand Record

Regretfully selling a couple of my Motobecane Grand Records. This one is a very nice 1975, Black with Red panels and accents. It's a 52cm (21"). There are a lot of Grand Records out there for sale but this one is in much better condition than most. Very few paint chips and scrapes, has obviously been kept inside and protected. You will be very pleased. Very comfortable and rides like a dream! Grand Records were used for touring and for racing back in the day. A true multi-purpose bike.
Reynolds 531 frame with the elegant Nervex fancy lugs and gold lug lining. Nuevo Record F&R derailleur and downtube shifters, TA 3-pin crank (42-52 teeth), Phillipe handlebar and stem, unknown brand aluminum quill pedals, probably Maillard or Lyotard, Velo saddle, Weinmann 610 centerpull brakes, Stronglight Competition headset, Super Champion rims with Normandy Competition hubs and Sun Tour Perfect freewheel. Kenda tires 27x1-1/8 (like new).
You would have a hard time finding another Grand Record as nice as this one. I am asking $600 plus shipping via Bike Flights.

I am located in Central Illinois, near Peoria.

Yeah, I just realized that. I'm trying to copy it to the For sale thread and delete it from this thread. My bad!

No worries, it just gets more and more fun the further down the road we get.

Is the bike sold? I used to own that exact bike. I bought it brand new for $374. I owned it for 20 years before letting it go for $125. I rebuilt it twice and loved it dearly. I'm interested in yours if it's still available.
