FS: Giro Republic Lead/Gum Shoes; Sz 43.5 w/ Extras

For sale is a used pair of Giro Republic cycling shoes in size 43.5. I purchased these shoes, somewhere around 2015, brand new. This was back when Giro offered half sizes. But, they stopped that and, in fact, have long since discontinued this legendary shoe. I used them off and on during my commute to work in Portland but had enough other cycling/flat shoes that these were not my primary kicks. Nor did they see much rain as I typically took the train/bus from October to around March. I rode in them for a couple of seasons but switched to flat soled shoes years ago and haven't ever looked back. So, these have been in the box and unused for probably about 4 years now.

They do show wear but it is fairly minimal. They seem to wear like iron. This does include the notorious underside that can wear quickly but these really aren't too bad nor are the clips that are included. But, who doesn't like fresh cleats? I'm including a full set (Crankbrothers standard cleat kit), along with the original white shoelaces and instruction booklet. If you want the original box, it's an extra $5.

Price: $ SOLD $ (net, through PayPal/Venmo) includes shipping to anywhere in the contiguous United States.

This is a smokin deal, we had a couple sets a few weeks ago that flew away very quickly.

These maybe a little small for the gang as they are for me or I would have them already.

If they were 42s, I’d buy them in a second. I could probably eek out 43s.

Awesomely comfortable.

FS: Giro Republic SPD size 42

Had these attached to a different post, now posted separately.

Barely used Giro Republic in black, size 42, with cleats. Uppers and insoles look new, outer sole and cleats show minimal usage. $70 shipped conus. I know these have less than 100 miles on them, 2 or 3 rides. I can use them a bit with no socks, but, I do not like no socks. These are my favorite cycling shoes, very comfortable and durable. I have a pair that is around 10 years old, with a whole lot of miles. Changed the cleats once, still a whole lot of miles left for them.
