I don't know what a ground loop is, or a side-slip, but we are talking about wind assisted wheelies here...
Now after closer reading, I know for sure I would have bought one of these in my younger days... and I would have wondered why it wouldn't really fly!
I tried to convince my mom once that a submarine in the back of a comic book was real because it seemed real to me... Until she told me what fiber board was. I was all set to bring it to the lake too...

Didn't take note of that when I first saw the photo.Now if one could just attach that wing section to the frame, set up the handlebars to control the ailerons, and stabilizers hooked up to a Sturmey twist-grip, then you've got something.
Heck, run a secondary chain to a pusher prop in back. Once you're off the ground, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get it spinning at a good clip. Of course, the moment you're back down, the FAA will be on your behind

In fact, I was working a joint effort with the FAA, and I was walking with a couple of FAA people past the ultra-light section of the big Oshkosh air show during a break, and they saw an ultra-light towing a hang glider and they were trying to figure out whether the weight should be combined or not in considering if it still qualified as an ultra-light.
So, if you built your Glide-O-Bike light enough, the FAA will leave you completely alone.
Just keep your health insurance card with you.

Well, the Glide-O-Bike is at least as plausible as growing Sea-Monkeys. I fell for the SeaMonkey scam and the X-Ray glasses. Probably I was thinking I could see through Mrs. SeaMonkey's clothes with the X-Ray specs. After all, in the advertisement, Mrs. SeaMonkey had a dress and wore a string of pearls. To my great shock, of course, Mrs. SeaMonkey did not have clothes and neither did the rest of the SeaMonkey family!
