As of today, the vaccine is officially available to all adults in MN. Not surprisingly, every hospital, clinic, and pharmacy in the area is booked solid. Well, those that have actually changed their online screening qualifications to match the state's. Hurrumph.

Sold a nice couple a set of his & hers Fuji Captivas today. Had a great time helping them choose accessories like fenders, racks, trunk bags. They chose insulated trunk bags to keep their growlers cool on their adventures.
I sold a LOT of Stinsons:

A couple weeks back I learned that working in Biopharma makes me a 'Healthcare Worker' and thus eligible. I've been repeatedly trying to schedule an appointment, but no dice. Come Thursday, Mrs. GeneJockey and I will BOTH be eliglble. But it doesn't matter if you can't find anyplace to get the shot, does it?

I often came close to buying Marin's version of that style bike while working at Performance. They were pretty fun to ride around. Of course I'd have had to put SLX on it and get some tubeless rims for it , and... eventually I'd have an $800 cruiser

WhyFi Being our resident TL expert, I have a question. My little racing trike, oxymoron, I know, has tubeless rims and I just noticed that the front tires are 406x28 Schwalbe Pro One TLE, currently with tubes. I’ve got everything I need to run them tubeless. What be your guess as to PSI? I run 65-70 PSI. I’m thinking no more than 45-50 PSI. I’ll have to do research but I’ve never seen any recommendations for PSI in TL tires that small.

I wasn't sure if there would there be any reason to go with something other than the measured width and load per tire, but looking at the Zipp tire pressure calc (which only goes down to 650), it does seem that wheel size has a significant impact on recommended pressure... I guess that makes sense, as there's more/less air volume to compress and I suppose that the contact patch would be different, too. I guess I'd probably start in your 45-50psi range and see how it shakes out.

Having more tyres to support a similar weight should mean lower pressure needed, but cornering forces on the front tires REALLY want to tear them right off the rims. Seems like to me anyway.
ETA: But a lot of non-road TL rims have surprisingly low max recommended pressure so double check that before going really firm.

I am especially attentive to ISO, when dealing with old bikes. A 26 x 1 3/8 (S6) Schwinn tire does not have the same ISO diameter as other 26 x 1 3/8 tires.
