Best place to sell bike components
Having had some success at Velo Swap here in Denver, I was wondering if there is a preferred on-line place to sell bike stuff. I know Craigslist and E-Bay, but would like to know if there are better places; maybe the premium version of this site. What are your experiences?. I have a mix of both vintage and newer stuff that I'd like to start unloading. None of it "junk".

Sell stuff here if you want to move it fast, but be aware we are all cheap here!
Ebay is the best place if you want to sell for higher prices.

+1 I have had great success stuff selling stuff here. At some fairly good prices with no hassles, extra fee's or silly questions requests to deal with well worth the n price even if you only sell one thing then you get no adds for a year on this great site..
Also if you give us an idea of what you have to sell preferable with pics it will give use a good idea of were it's best to sell. Denver is a great fairly large bike market lots of buyers and sellers so unless something is real special you will actually do better local on most stuff.

What is your objective? If it is getting maximum price, then eBay for the win. Where ebay wins is you get the maximum audience for your stuff. With that comes the headaches of ebay. Buy it now, immediate payment required is the way to go (check the box when you create your listing). Otherwise there are too many buyers out there that get "buyers remorse" and never pay. My average is about 10% no pays. Immediate payment required eliminates that problem.
If it is the easiest way to sell stuff, then a local swap meet is fine. Just figure you are going to get A LOT less. In my area, I'd get 10% to 20% of what I could get on ebay.
Parts are easy to ship. The smaller/lighter stuff can go first class mail. Heavier stuff I use the flat rate padded envelope. Bulkier stuff like wheels, bikes and frames, you will need to pack into a bike or wheel box. Even though buyers pay shipping, savvy buyers include that cost in their decision making. So being an efficient shipper will garner you more sales.
