Clamp for handle bars when folding Bike Friday tandem

When we fold the Bike Friday Tandem to hang on our bike rack, the front handle bars currently need to be secured with a bunch cord. We are looking for suggestions for a support of some kind we can attach to the frame that would secure the front handle bars after disconnecting before folding down the front wheel. Has anyone done this or have any recommendations on what type of clamp we should look for?

It's just awkward to deal with the dangling front handle bars.

Having racked full size tandems for 20 plus years the bungee cord works as good as anything and is easier to use and does less damage to the paint. Roger
