68km early this morning but it was a tough ride. I didn't get enough sleep and the humidity was daunting. I felt heavy and sluggish the whole ride. There were some nice moments though. I rode for a bit on the west bank of the river so I saw the sun rise over the mountains on the east side. That was cool.

If you're here in the summer, every convenience store has ice cream. In the winter, some places do stop selling it so it may be a bit harder to find, but the big name convenience stores carry it year round.

22.7, with 1,000 gain. No drizzle this morning. Reddish sky but the air quality is still fine in Seattle. The smoke is UP high.

27 official club miles. But I also rode to/from the start since it was only ~2.5 miles from my house, so I claim 32 miles.

57.6 yesterday, around 5,000 feet vertical. Interesting day for it with very variable (but generally favorable) weather!

41 miles on my hybrid yesterday, my longest ride. Decent pace (for me) and I felt good afterwards. Looking forward to getting a new bike to keep it going.

One of the vagaries of China's unified time zone - most countries this size would have at least 3 time zones, but China only has one. As a result, cities in the east of China have sunrise very early, and sunset very early as well. Here in Shanghai in the summer the sun rises by 5am but it's fully set by just after 7pm, so it's fully dark by 8pm. As someone originally from Calgary where the sun doesn't set in the summer until well after 9pm, that took a lot of getting used to.

I was thinking the time was around between 23:30 & 01:00.
65 Miles O.D. Beautiful open sky.
