who has vintage and modernish bikes
beyond his ability to ride them all 'regularly' -
I might buy the road version of this bike.
Surely, it must be coming.
From somewhere.
CF or Al would do.
Conventionally radical innovation.
Might allow me to keep narrow tires with enough compliance in those stays & blades. Who cares about UCI regs? But the price has to trickle down.

Looks expensive. And it's geared too high for climbing. But I'll bet it would be a hoot to ride around the track.

Track bikes are all about stiffness and aerodynamics, so I'm assuming that's what they were working on. As you've probably seen, some unusual bikes with the Lotus name have appeared before.

I've also noticed a trend toward having wider fork spacing on normal aero road bikes just to allow cleaner airflow around the wheels. This is kind of an extreme version and obviously interacts with the airflow around the rider's legs.
