Looking for a 250mm or longer seat post with a separate bolt for the tilt adjustment

Are there any 27.2 mm seat posts at least 250 mm long with a bolt to secure the tilt adjustment separate from the bolt(s) to secure the fore/aft adjustment?

On my Centurion Ironman I replaced the 200mm Shimano Dura Ace SP-7400 seat post that does have a separate bolt for the tilt with a 250mm Cinelli Via Folli seat post that has only a single bolt to secure both fore/aft and tilt. The Cinelli seat post is beyond awkward to adjust. Even worse, several times the saddle has moved after I thought I had tightened the bolt.

American Classic has separate bolts for that adjustment and is readily available on eBay usually.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Ironmans equipped with 27.0 seatposts?

But I'm thinking for a 250mm length post you'd have to go a bit modern especially going 2 bolt system. For example a Thomson Elite 27.0 x 250mm

https://www.amazon.com/Thomson-Bicyc...229&psc=1&th=1

If it interests you I have a 27.0 black fluted Gipiemme seatpost that may look great on your Ironman.

Ditto, American Classic Equipment seatpost, if you can find one for a reasonable price. My early 1990s Trek 5900 OCLV came with one -- titanium, if I'm reading the specs correctly. Probably pricey if purchased separately. AC might have made some in aluminum as well.

The tilt adjustment stop screw is kinda sorta handy but not essential. I haven't had any problems getting the desired saddle angle with other seat posts that use the single bolt to control everything. Depends on the design. Some are easy to adjust and clamp without the angle shifting; others are frustrating and shift as we tighten the bolt.

Regarding sizes, I see via Google image search an American Classic expanding quill seatpost in 27.2. There may be others without the expansion plug.

I would take your old seat post apart and check, clean the ridges before looking to buy. GLWTS though! AM was my choice when I had to.
