Dura Ace SIS 10 speed compatible downtube shifters?

Considering SL-7800 and SL-7900 are virtually impossible to find; I'm curious if anyone is aware of 3rd party 10 speed downtube shifters that are compatible?

I’m thinking Microshift makes some but I don’t know the model number. I would be curious to know however..,

This was a few years ago but one of the English on-line bike retailers had the 7900 ten speed (indexed only) down tube levers for a clearance price of like $59. I bought one set to be used with some Gevenalle Audax (Tektro) aero brake levers with the braze-on adapter shifter pods.

It might have been Planet Bike or Spa Cycles. Or it might have been Probikekit. It is rather disappointing about these current parts shortages and the higher end scarce parts fetching higher prices as a result. That is if you can even find them:

So, I found that the European distributors still have the DA versions,, and don't price gouge... I was actually laughed at by someone there when I said that they were hard to get. I got a couple for insurance...

Isn't there something funky/different about Dura Ace 10 speed stuff vs other Shimano 10 speed road ?

From memory 7800 is the same pull ratio as other ten speed Shimano, and is backwards compatible, the 7900 series components (cables under the bars, hollow chainrings) used a different pull ratio that lasted 1 generation before 11 speed came out.

Didn't Shimano ban sales to North America from Europe?

The different 7900 pull ratio refers to the brakes. 10 speed Shimano is 10 speed Shimano.

Well rats... I ran across a stash of 7800 DT shifters and I passed on them because they were so cheap I assumed they were plentiful. Clearout. Ugh.

I don't think they can block it. I purchased a full 105 Groupset from the UK a few months ago, came super quickly, and price was standard MSRP.

Brakes and the FD, you can get front shifting manageable with other groups but it's never what you would expect from a 7900 fd.
