Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not quite "on its way"; we're moving in less than a week so I asked to have it sent after that, to ensure it won't end up on the wrong doorstep and pilfered (we haven't had an issue with that, but I really don't want to risk it with this!). Then I also asked for a family pic of it with the others, which will actually delay it longer because of my sister's not being finished yet. But soon. It's right there...

That one is right around $750. The kicker is that the steel is repurposed from the leaf spring of the Studebaker Champion given to my grandparents as a wedding gift, reforged.

Yeah, hot weather sucks. It changes everything.
Warm weather has many advantages. If it would only stay at 80° I could deal, but nooooooooooo it's got to sprint to 90, 95, 100!!! They can keep that nonsense.

The dew point here in Philly was nearly 70 at 6 am. Temperature supposed to hit 90. No thanks.

Better get your arm warmers out, and maybe a light jacket.
