There is a big market out there for anything that will allow people to think they know more than people who actually know stuff. All those kids on the playground who used to beat up "Poindexters", and the other kids who cheered those bullies on, have all grown up with their inferiority complexes fully intact.

The rest of the area is prolly not much better. It's been a few decades, but when I was in my 20's I went to visit my grandparents in Hollywood Florida and rode my bike to Miami and back. It was scary and not something I would recommend, and I can only imagine that traffic has gotten worse in the past 30 years.

The rest of the area is prolly not much better. It's been a few decades, but when I was in my 20's I went to visit my grandparents in Hollywood Florida and rode my bike to Miami and back. It was scary and not something I would recommend, and I can only imagine that traffic has gotten worse in the past 30 years.

There's an area mileage maniac I follow on Strava who goes down there every now and then. I've not examined the routes he rides.
