Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Apparently for major chains you cannot ride a bike through the drive thru. Motorcycles can. I wonder what about e-bikes?!?

I've taken the bike through bank drive-thrus. No one stopped me.

No need for food when I'm riding, obv.

You can, but you are unlikely to get any food. And you may be charged with trespassing. Very few restaurants will serve someone on foot or a bike at their drive thru windows. Whether they think this is for the safety of you, or their employees, or their other customers, is immaterial.

I wouldn’t go through a major chain drive through on my bike anyway, can you imagine how angry the people in line would be?

well, I actually wouldn’t go to a major chain to begin with unless it was a road trip.

Reached out to the shop with the Purple Sunset aspero, they have a 58 from last year (too big) that comes w/ the reserve carbon wheels. Asked if they would swap if I paid the price difference- if they do, I’m 95% sure I’m pulling the trigger.

I'd be full of joy and optimism in Arkansas, bud.

Also reminds me of a retired MG I worked for for a while, who used to say he was going to bend my dog tags and send me to Ft. Polk.

I should've had a 3, but was in a rush and had a typo, that turned out to actually be in the word list. Still happy with a 4 though.
