Replacing B tension screw
I removed the B tension screw from my Shimano Deore M5120, long cage derailleur and now I can't screw it back in. It's as if the screw is too big and won't even screw a single turn. Any suggestions as to how to get it back in?

Remove the rear derailleur from the bike so you have better access to the hole it goes in.
If it came out it will go in...it didn't miraculously expand...

Very unusual unless horrible corrosion present in which case apply a penetrant lube/spray, if you can see the blockage is solid I suppose that happened or a defect. If there is not enough screw outside the RD tapped hole to grab you can use an Easy Out. With the right size hole drilled in your broken piece the spiral flutes embed themselves deeper into the metal as you turn the tool lefty loosey and screw it out.
