I’ve been hunting for a Kodiak or Miyata tourer, but this Alyeska will do. More pics to come after getting her cleaned up and outside. VO has gotten a huge share of my monies this year, but some hammered fenders and some vintage Blackburn racks would look great, I think.

I used to commute on an Alyeska. Great bike, it will give you miles and miles of joy.

Love the paint scheme on these. I’d match the bars to the headtube or go leather.

I think to match the head tube would look AMAZING but not sure where to start for that color. I suspect brown leather will happen here. I’m hesitant to replace the correct and good condition seat though... we’ll see how comfortable it is soon.

I saw that bike sitting on CL for a while.

Glad it went to another BF C&Ver.

Agreed! I saw it leave and come back, so I jumped on it. Totally decent condition. Fair for the price for sure, and nice enough to deserve some consumables and cleaning up. The new Paselas were really the deal sealer honestly.

1. Don't blame Denver, just take a bow for having your priorities straight!
2. "VO has gotten a huge share of my monies this year,..." but it's not even the end of the first month of this year. Do tell, whatcha been buying?

Nothing super fancy. But for me it is. I tell myself I’m budget minded.

Thank you, I genuinely appreciate it! Winter is building season, and this year was good to me. It’s the “smiliest” bike I own. I’ll take it in the sun and get some more photos soon.
