I've been planning to get in a 56KM ride, as I'm about to turn 56. I did that today, even going a bit over 57km. I'm at 735KM for June; 2.042KM for the year so far. And I've now ridden my bike over 11,000KM since 2020.

Just did a quick tally and I’ve managed to ride 227km (141 miles) this month. I don’t think I’ve ever ridden that distance in a year, definitely not since I got my drivers licence.

I have another 40km planned this week and I might just see if I can get over 275km (170 miles).

261 miles, the most miles in June since I started riding again in 2013. After Spring with wet, cold, windy weather and very little riding, I'm 5 miles short of last year's YTD miles and 35 miles short of 2020's YTD mileage. Wet weather is coming next week, though. Goal for July: 300 miles and a 79 KM ride by 7/31.

Finished off June with 805KM for the month. Even got to take a couple rides at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. A photo from one a couple days ago is below.

Well that didn't work out very well.
I started June hopeful that we'd finally got over covid and coughs around the house, then the bad weather came along killing the riding for the first half of the month. Then I spent one evening out in cool weather finishing off putting some fibreglass on the shed roof and I ended up coughing again the following morning. The cough has persisted, not bad but there when I exert myself too much. Then come the last week of June I did something to my hip and lower back and I've barely been able to walk, sit and lay down. It gets a little easier by the end of the day but there is no way I could be on the bike.
So my total distance for June was 0 (both in miles and kilometres ) and so far July isn't looking much better.
Damn, getting old is difficult

June was a busy month plus wind rain and heat. I did get lazy and wasn’t reporting miles. I did get 251 miles
