I swapped Bizkarra out on my stage hunter team. So look for him to crush the third week.

The conventional wisdom seems to say Tuesday will be a mads, mads, mads world. Coquard isn't buying that. That is, if he takes the start tomorrow.

I know a ski jumper
Became a cyclist
These are the very words he uses
To describe his life
"He said a good day
Ain't got no rain
He said a bad day's when I lie on the asphalt
And think of things that might have been
"

Stage Hunter team looks quite different this morning.

Wow. You dropped Roglic like a hot potato. Well played, sir; well played.

I am not [yet?] conditioned to the stage hunter thing, but I'm sure I can rise to more swift, petty, vindictive roster moves. Whether or not they're any good is the main TBD.

Had to go thru some machinations to get Almeida, couldn’t get Ayuso.

I'm going to rename it my Stage Punters team, since I'm down two more today: a Battisella DNS and a Vine DNF.

I shall have to channel all my luck into the Benelux Tour again. It sure isn't going to turn around in La Vuelta or Superclasico.

Few are watching the BF Tour of Britain goings on, but through yesterday's scoring we've got a top 10% from @canam73 and a top 10 (no %) from stealth interloper Keka 76. Who is that guy?

D'oh! I tried Stage Hunting prematurely yesterday while transfers were still closed. Then I saw a squirrel. Didn't come back around, so today I've started with Vine, Battisella, and money in the bank.

I won't catch Shadco that way, with my stage punters. GrainBrain seems to have a lead pipe lock on the main game; stage hunting is justifiably below him, for now.

It's Lance Armstrong. After his banning the bike forums fantasy cycling competition is the only other place that can provide the competitive action he craves.

canam73 is the danger man in the stage Hunter contest.

I wasted a few bullets trying to get Ayuso.

Not so much below but I'm just a committed team guy ya know? I'm pretty sure Hugosky and team Portugal has me by 700 points at the line tomorrow thanks to Lopez and Almeida. Bahrain has cracked all the eggs in my Roglic basket.

Should be an interesting final point count with everyone within a few hundred. Props to team RotzundWasser for picking Mas. Woulda done the same if I had paid attention to the lack of descending here.

more than a few teams in both versions of la vuelta in the running that it would be more reckless than usual to speculate on podium placings.
regardless, it's been a blast during this last grand tour of the year. hopefully, y'all have enjoyed.

Since when have any prognostications around here been restrained by care or probability?

Absent Ewan, I find it hard to not just hop aboard the Mads mobile though wouldn't it be awesome if Fred Wright took it. He is not as encumbered by my support as McLay and Stewart.

I've got nothing coherent for VG league predictions.

Very happy with my 5th place finish after being at the bottom for the first two weeks! While Carapaz finished well off the podium, his three stage wins and KOM jersey made him my second best points getter after Remco. La Vuelta provided a great finished to the Grand Tour season!

If this thing went another 3 weeks, I might have been a contender. This race had a bit of everything, Hopefully 2023 and onward COVID will cease to disrupt all our lives.

I was plummeting like a pro and and am @#ģ& that you were there for me to bounce off. I was robbed of la camisa negra.

Kudos to canam73 and shad. It was a privilege to round out the podium with them in the Lazarus league.
