There’s a Celo Europa for sale in my size (62cm) about two hours away for $100. All the decals seem to be removed but the pantographed parts are present. Looks like a mix of components - I see Shimano, Suntour, and Campy, so likely not all original. But, if this is one of the Colnago built frames, what do ya think? I’ll also see what the blue frame behind it is, could be interesting.

Is that 62? I have a 66cm Univega sitting in my garage, and those frames look more akin to that size. You may want to ask the seller to measure the seat tube with specific instructions (politely, of course) before you make the drive. If they're 62, looks certainly worth it if they float your boat.

I do have a message in to the owner asking for the stand over height - I agree, they look big but I'm hoping there's something about the photo angle that may be skewing things.

If you're in Keizer, maybe you can join @Andy_K, @Johnny Ace and myself for the Monster Cookie Metric Century ride out of Salem. Just checked, looks like what's typically an early season ride has been pushed to August 28 for what by now we should just call "the standard reason."

$100 is cheap regardless. Looks bigger than a 62. I rarely/never get accurate sizing information from sellers. I might have gotten accurate sizing in 5 out of 750 bikes purchased.

Anymore I’ve given up on getting size information. I just jump in the car and drive. I’d check out the frame behind it too.

Yea , definitely get an accurate measurement, it looks bigger than a 62 to me . Those bikes belong to a tall person with that size frame and a large portion of seat post up.
The photo looks off to me anyway , real hard to tell.

Ask the seller to measure from the center of the crank to the point where the top tube intersects the seat tube. If that number is OK with you, hurry, hurry and hurry to make the purchase. Two hour drive is nothing in my book.

Some sellers don't want to be bothered, by even a 15 second job like taking a simple measurement. And one thing I do not do is post deals I want to get on this forum. Its not just forum "members", this is a public list and people can lurk in, spot the deal and grab it. Maybe I'm a little suspicious, or maybe I'm right. Certainly there are others in Oregon combing the public ads.

I get a chuckle out of people that post "I can never find deals in my size." Its really simple, deals in other sizes will bolster your bike fund and let you pay full market value for the bike you really want. I've found some great deals over the years, rarely my size.

Grab now, research later. $100 with Campy parts, even if they are a mix? No brainer. As far as a two hour drive, I live out in the boonies, I drive two hours just to go to Costco..... One thing I do on longer drives is try to visit a co-op along the way, or pick up another bike, or go to Costco, etc..

But check the fork when you are there. It is probably the reflection off the chrome, but the fork looks a bit bent back in the photo (for real, not the usual "fork's bent" fun and games we often indulge in). And check the top and down tubes just back of the head tube as well. Something doesn't look quote right to me, It's probably the funky camera angle, but it could be the frame has been through a front end crash.

Fork looks strait me but they took it at bad angle that tends to make forks look bent . Also if someone goes and looks at this bike ask about the nice looking Blue Project frame set partial bike in back you may get that too for a really good price. Considering the initial ask I would try and get both for $250-300 good chance you could get both for $250 or so and make it worth your time.

Agree it's probably the photo angle or some such, but it only takes a few moments to double check.
