I passed 10,000KM on my bike today.

I'm a little proud of this and wanted to share. According to my Strava tracking, I've now ridden my bike 10,088.5km. Not all at once, though, since getting it in early 2020. So I took photos. Here's one.

It's on it's second cassette and chain (and will need a new top cog soon), second rim, and has had a few tires.

With 10,000+KM

Well done.
I do kilometers too because they are much easier than miles

Thanks! No current goal. That wasn't really a goal to start with, but I saw I was close. At some point I'd like to go on longer, multi-day rides, like the Great Allegheny Passage, but I should get a bike that can carry more than a small bag and single water bottle. (I've zip tied a second water bottle cage on occasion).

Totally. I'm a long ways from 10,000 miles. But I do keep my watch tracking in miles with KM for my Strava.

I'm an Aussie, I haven't done miles since the 70's.
Actually that's not entirely true I use miles randomly quite often. Something is miles away. On a clear day I can see for miles. And the most important one after a week on the road is that Sydney is still 500 miles from Melbourne, because 900 kilometres sounds way too far. But my gauges and apps only show kilometres only.

Yes, sometimes you need to be poetic or lyrical and four-syllable expressions of distance just won't work.
