(This is a little rare do to the fact that the Cirrus was never a thing, This was a previous year frame that they had left over and they painted it with a new two tone scheme.)

I just need a good idea what its worth as a group, I've been happy to ride it and enjoy it but I don't ride it as much as I'd like and want to focus on my primary bike at the moment. Thanks for any input you may have.

I have the original bars and stem that I'd rather sell and keep the new ones. Also I'd like to keep the wheels and hubs if that made people more inclined to buy it at a cheaper project price.

I'd be tempted to sell it as a frame/fork/and headset. I just sold two vintage Trek framesets (an 80s 400 and an '84 610) on FB marketplace. Vintage touring bikes with cantilevers tend to command a premium. I'd value this around $250 +/- $50.

Yeah, I could see keeping the parts for a future build. I'd prefer to keep it whole to minimize my work but I love the wheels and cockpit.

I think it's hard to sell a unique build like this for anything close to what it might be worth. The easiest complete bikes to sell are those that stayed close to how you originally found it. Once you start sinking money into a bike, it's generally a losing cause to recoup your investment which is why, IMO, this bike is a good candidate for a part out. There are a lot of bike tinkerers out there who like a blank canvas for their next project. Vintage Treks are highly valued.

As a whole bike, about $400 with a basic saddle. The sadddle on there used sell for about $60-80.

I do think that others may think it's worth more as a whole.

That's a neat build with some well-chosen premium bits, but it will be hard to find the buyer who gives it full value as is. It's "worth" $600+ as a whole bike, but it might be hard to get that -- parted out you'd likely realize more. eBay will gross more, but comes with fees and shipping hassle -- but unless you are in a biking-friendly major metro area it still might be your best bet.

I'd likely part it out -- especially if you'd have a use for some of the components for a future build.

I was offered $200 for the Phil hubs, so I'd be an idiot to sell the bike for $300. I've got 5 in it.

With very FEW exceptions, a bike is worth more in parts than it is as a whole bike.
Want a max return: spend your time parting it out.

Nailed it particularly with a highly modified bike with some desirable parts. It's just the state of the market at this point, and its been that way for many years.

It should not take much time to strip the bike down assuming access to some good bike tools. It also saves on consumables (you can keep tires for example to use on another bike).

I would be incline to keep the really nice wheel set and tires in most markets there almost as much as you could get for the whole bike and there is a near shortage of nicer vintage bike wheels and tires right now.
