My suggestions:

Saturday: 4pm, Hampton Inn parking lot.

Sunday: Meet at the usual spot to the right of the registration tents at 7:30... roll out by 8.

Thanks Rich for your well wishes, and thanks to you as well Den. The surgery went well but I am definitely off of the bike for a couple of months. I just seem to have rotten luck this time of year with surgeries.....bummer. I know you all will have a great ride. I felt short-changed when I had my foot break open not even 3 miles into the '07 ride. Be safe and have fun..tell Bath Navin says hi.

Cheers,

Brian J.

I'm gonna be coming up for this ride. I heard so many good things about it. I'm actually from Lebanon and am coming up on saturday to stay with my parents. Looking forward to meeting some BF people.

I'm an occasional visitor/poster here at BF and have done this ride each of the last two years. I'll probabably be doing it again with my brother and possibly some other friends as well. If ya'll are there at 7:30 I might see you. We try to start the ride then to get out before a lot of the crowds at lunch. I'll be the one, hopefully, on my purple Merckx MX Leader with yellow seat/bartape.

Later,

Eric (from Philly suburbs)

Grahny,

Not much buzz about the Saturday social ride. I hope it's still on for the day. Two, maybe three of us are planning to be there. Anybody else going to come for an easy, short spin?

Denny

so as suggested by grahny, meet at 0730 and roll at 0800 on Sunday is the plan. Sorry I can't make the social ride Saturday. See you all Sunday morning.

I'll be there for the ride on Sunday. Unfortunately I'm in physical therapy for a hip problem, so I may be limited to doing the shorter ride. However I'm definitely looking forward to seeing everyone at the start!

Cool! Once spinnaker, and I check in @ the Quality Inn and change, we'll go grab mtclifford @ his hotel. So we may be a few minutes behind as well.

yup

weather looks hot for Sunday. Bring lots of fluids, folks - I recall it's a nice ride but not a ton of support/rest stops (pls correct me if I am mistaken here) so plan to hydrate sufficiently.

I have the route that grasschopper and I did last year on saturday I'll toss on my garmin in case no one local shows up. It's 18mi - we can always toss a few extra on there for good measure

I will confess though that I have yet to even use the mapping features on my 705, so I can't be held responsible for riding us into a lake, cow pasture, buffet, highway, or caravan of amish buggies. Oh, and GC and I took a few wrong turns and did a few of the same roads since we had no clue where we were going, so it'll be nice to relive those moments - I distinctly remember turning around in a parking lot at some point

Ha Ha, sounds like the first year I led the Sat Social. I drove it in my car prior, and still got us lost. Things looks different from the bike seat

We'll get thru it just fine,

Hi all...

Can't do the Saturday ride after all, but will be there Sunday and hope to meet up with everyone; wouldn't be the Covered Bridge ride without a BF meetup!

Beth

PS SB and HG, will you two be the white-flag meeting point?

we just got into the Quality Inn on Lincoln Hwy....tons of traffic on this road and the NJ trnpk made our planned 3 hour drive a 4.5 hour sunstroke nightmare...

4:45 now - you guys are probably already on the Sat nite social ride, so enjoy- and see you at 7:30 tomorrow AM
