The listing is gone so perhaps it sold. Hopefully if it did, the buyer and seller are both satisfied and someone will get good use of the bike.

I'm curious about the Portage with its 584 wheels, but not enough to waste the seller's time when it's north of $500.

Where’s Kilroy1988 at anyways?! He’s the one who got us into all this Portage mess! At this point we can assume OP is never logging in again and just wanted a quick valuation. Now that it’s still up for $500+, have any feeling changed regarding perceived value? The seller clearly sells dozens of items through Facebook so their selling skills couldn’t be the worst. What gives? No one’s going to buy this for $500?
e: Maybe The Thin Man can give OP tips on maximizing his Portage profit.

It looks to be a 21" model to my eye.

The OP has this listed for $525 as a "racing bike" with 26 inch wheels.
Even with the 650b wheels, I think this bike is overpriced. At that price point, you can get a better quality 700c vintage touring bike.

I did have a face book conversation with Him, I asked for his # and he replied through face book! 1986' has four sizes, 19,21,23,and 25" that being said I had him measure and I think it is a 21" framed bike. I inquired about the bike because it would probably fit my Wife.
I wish some of these sellers would actually have a voice conversation. I think the bike is in darn good condition from the basic photos but
I would like to have some detailed ones. The next step would be can he bring it to bike shop for a shipping situation or is it a local sale only.
I have the same year and know the bike well I would like to see His and Hers on top of my car!

It is finally marked sold after 5 or so weeks. The last listing was for $525. It would be interesting to know what it finally sold for. I'm guessing it didn't sell for the highest historical eBay price. But as I said the last time I thought it sold, I hope everyone involved in the sale is satisfied and that it finds good home.
