Campagnolo Wheelset #2: Low Flange, Post-CPSC, Ambrosio Excellence rims

Gorgeous pair of classic Campagnolo wheels. Freewheel, clincher, 126OLD. Post-CPSC Record hubs with correct curved skewers, laced to black Ambrosio Excellence rims with machined brake tracks. Cloth rim tape.
Fairly recent hand build, maybe 200 miles on them, brake tracks show virtually zero wear. Very clean, run straight and true. $225 plus shipping (usually about $25 within the USA):

Italian, but has had a Sachs freewheel installed.

Side note:
I've read all the stuff and technical data about how close but different Italian and English threading is for freewheel mounts, and how once you've mounted an E freewheel on an I hub you have to use E freewheels on that hub forevermore, but honestly, that has not been my experience.

On the other hand, Shimano UG and Sachs freewheels are such an enormous improvement over other brands of the period that I can't imagine wanting to use anything else unless it's a wall hanger. With all due respect to DD and others who like 'em.

Really surprised these haven't run out the door.

Rims cost more than the selling price...if you can find them.

I have four sets of Ambrosio Excellence wheels laced to Campy Record hubs.

These are, by far, some of the best wheelsets around. Strong, lightweight and attractive.

Your asking price is a steal.
