Picked a pair of these up for rainy days, and winter like conditions. I have a pair of the XXX version in white. Last winter they got pretty nasty in the less than fair like weather days. Got those all cleaned up looking new, but do not want to go through that again.

We think alike because I was searching all over and I couldn't find the Liege 75 in a M.

But I was able to find the Strada frameset and luckily found a UK based LBS who shipped it out and the best part, it arrives tomorrow.
Looking forward to your finished build.

I saw a medium Liege a few months ago, but a Strada is nice! I recently sold my Motorola Strada and deeply regret it. Post some pics when you build it up.

For my wife's bike, bought a pair of Michelin Pro Course tires and a pair of white Lezyne side pull bottle cages to go along with the white(ish) decal on her LeMond Reno-much easier since the bike is small. For my Reno, a Microshirft R 539 front der. Haven't used it, as I was going thru an old container and there was a new 4403 which I used before the other arrived. Can't hurt to have a spare, especially since the old 4403 spring "nub" broke and seems there were some problems with that happening. Don't feel like switching it out again, so keeping my fingers crossed.

After selling the Helix two weeks ago, for the first time in the last 15 years I didn't have a road bike in the stable. I'm doing my best to keep the R500 boxed up for my ultimate "dream" build, if and once Campagnolo goes wireless next year. So I reignited the search for a modern geo-steel frameset with the hopes of finding a Liege 75 or at least something similar. I wanted to stay within a certain budget and my search led me to a particular shop from across the pond. They don't advertise like CRC, Merlin, Wiggle, etc... in regards to shipping internationally. A couple days, emailing back and forth to confirm the sale and exact shipping cost and the sale was finalized. Huge shoutout and thanks to the staff at https://www.paulmilnescycles.com for making this happen. Hoping to finish up the build by the end of the week and in time for a shakedown ride first thing Saturday morning.

Really nice frame! I love the Merckx branding and the color. I have a euro bike infatuation and after seeing the site you posted I still have it. They do have some really nice frames and tons of Ridley. Glad you got it worked out.

The bontrager shoe ended up not being a good fit so decided to go with the Torch 2.0, wife bought me the varia as a surprise. I already had the basic model, but she wanted to make sure she could collect after I got hit.

These particular framesets.. the Strada, Corsa and Liege 75 from Eddy Merckx were released several years ago, possibly around2018-2019 or maybe earlier. These framesets were not custom and trying to find one now domestically was a challenge itself. I lucked out and just happened to find Paul Milnes Cycles online while searching for these Eddy Merckx framesets.

I have decided to build my first road bike. So far, 700c x 28 tires have arrived. Carbon wheels, frame, seat post, seat and bars on order. Looking for groupset.

My wife is going to throw me or the bikes out of the house if I don't stop acquiring them. I can't resist a 63 or 64 road bike, especially from the 80s or before (oh the curse of being 6'4"). Raleigh 480 Technium. I got this one for the frame only, but there's some things I may keep. SN indicates it was built 25 June 1986 (I saw Leo Kottke for the first of ten times 3 days earlier). What a grease collection this one has. I may keep the bullhorns, but the crummy shifters and that saddle must go. Save the tires, handlebars, shifters, saddle, and brake levers, it appears to be all original, including the hubs, rims, and freewheel (and dork disc). Haven't seen SunTour LePree in a while (I can't adjust the text size!!).

Picked up a Garmin Edge 1040 computer today. My wife's old computer crapped itself, so I gifted her my Wahoo Roam. I was looking at the Roam v2, but I got a check yesterday for $700 from an audit of my med bills I requested. I really never expected anything, so I considered this a small lottery win, so I rolled down to my LBS and picked it up. Win, Win for all involved.

Edit: A few days later, I picked up the gen 4 version of the Trek Domane SLR 7 eTap, it seemed to be the right thing to do since I just got the new computer.

So I went on a little buying spree last night. I decided I like the SRAM eTap AXS that came with my new Domane, and I really like electronic shifting, so I decided I would update my Trek Emonda ALR that is currently running mechanical 11 speed. The Emonda is not designed for internal cable routing, so eTap AXS is perfect for this bike being wireless. I also like losing 2 cables and it will help clean up the area in front of the bars a little. I am here to tell you, finding rim brake eTap AXS shifters was tough, but once I found them, I decided to pull the trigger on everything else since I was able to find them, and before the country runs out of diesel and nothing can be shipped.

Finally had to some time to put all the stuff I bought above on my bike. I ended up sending back the BBInfinite conversion kit and got a BBInfinite GXP BB, the conversion kit would have thrown the chainline out just a hair, and I did not want to deal with that, so I decided I would replace the BB instead. I have to say, it was a little tougher getting in than it was for the Shimano version, but it is very smooth. The AXS was a piece of cake to setup, took me about 25 mins to install and dial in. I highly recommend synching and updating before you put them on the bike. Made everything go a lot smoother. I really like not having the shift cables.
