Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Options for going to Di2 or eTap, '21 Cannondale SuperSix Evo

Hey all, haven't posted in quite a while. Mid/Late Summer I made two bike purchases. A 2016 S-Works Tarmac, Di2, wonderful bike. More recently, a '21 Cannondale SuperSix Evo Ultegra 105 Disc. Loving the stiffer frame, aero, etc. of the Cannondale, but really miss the electric shifting. The SuperSix does have internal routing for Di2, as other models have it. I've been thinking of upgrading the SuperSix, but was hoping for some help on exactly what I would need to purchase (besides the obvious, f/r derailleurs, L/R Shifters with hydraulic connections). Also, would a SRAM eTap AXS setup be another option? Thanks for any help!

I bought the 2020 Super Six 105 bike in April 2020. I already had a 2018 Synapse Di2 and had my mechanic swap over the Di2 for the 105. One part you will need is the oval carbon down tube plate that has the charging port. You may need to look around for one. My battery is in the seat tube. I have had no problems and love the bike.

Something like this?

Texas Cyclesport Shimano Ultegra R8070 Hydraulic Di2 7 Piece Conversion Kit | Daily Deal SUL-R8070-HYD-7C

Looks like you won't be doing any conversion until sometime early next year.

p.s.: if your handlebars accept internal wiring, go with the bar end Junction A. It looks much neater, IMHO.

You could do this and have the parts in about a week: https://www.merlincycles.com/en-us/s...it-137776.html

The oval cutout is already there in the Super Six and places the charging port much closer to the battery.

I wouldn't buy anything that's not 12 speed. I've been on force axs 12 since last July.
