GT Edge Ti

Wanting to have a bike on both my cabins, and of course not new bikes, but old….like me, I cruised through Norways answer to craigslist and found this fairly rare GT titanium bike.

The 83 year old owner had stepped down a bit on his cycling.

Equipped with tricolor, it might end up just staying just as it is

It will get a longer stem, and saddle hight will be higher.
Happy with the find, and is also my first brifters back in the days.

If I recall correctly, the seat stays arrangement is meant to shorten the wheelbase, make the bike more responsive, quick steering for criterium racing.
Mavic CXP-30 rims don't accelerate quick, but once they get rolling the extra mass really carries the momentum.
Nice find.
