GS MTB RD for 406 & 451 wheels

Say you want run a 1x system with a wide-range cogset, 11-42t or greater, on 406 or 451 wheels, you are going to be limited by derailleur ground clearance. SGS or long-cage RD are out of the question for this reason. This means that we are limited to GS or medium-cage RD if we want to run wide-rage cogset 1x drivetrains. Presently there are only a handful of Shimano GS MTB RD which are able to span at least a 42t cog.
.
One of these is the 10-speed Deore RD-M6000-GS pictured here with a 11-42t cogset and 53-406 tires. They are becoming rather rare so stock up before they are gone.
