I don't know, that dent in the seat tube doesn't look very light to me. (I know this isn't your description, Darwin, but the seller's.)

I have multiple sets of vintage tubular wheels, priced $200+ each set.
I have one set of Campy Record 32h to Ambrosio Synthesis w/tires (newish)
One set Suntour Sprint 36h laced to Rino (Think GP4) w/tires (newish)
One and a half Dura Ace 7400 laced to GP4's. One front is 32h, one set is 36h
All have the correct skewers, all true/round spin smooth, as one would expect. Freewheels included.
At the very least, you could get the link to your own ad right: https://annarbor.craigslist.org/bik/2565699958.html

Nice bike but missing some important parts. Most noteably is the 24K gold plated fork. Maybe it is just lighting but the fork on this Paramount looks to be the same color as the frame. Also missing are the 24K gold plated chain ring bolts and BB bolts. Lastly, the pump had a 24K gold plated valve head not to mention the pump itself is missing. Without these unique parts, is the bike worth $2,000?

Not mine:
BEAUTIFUL 1991 Schwinn Paramount Series 5 road bike - bike frame measures 23 inches from the top of the seat tube to the middle of the crank, with a 32 inch standover height.

This bike is in absolutely beautiful condition for its age...features the full Shimano 105 group with upgraded Campagnolo Omega rims. The frame is Tange triple-butted oversized tubing with forged dropouts, Modolo handlebars and Vetta saddle.

These Paramounts are getting harder and harder to find in this great condition...why buy a new bike when this one is a fraction of the cost.

Bike is minutes from Center City/University City and delivery is available. Please email any questions you have...thank you for your interest!

Oh my God...

Somebody please save this. I wish I could but it's not on the cards this month, which is a crying shame.

Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra, full Dura Ace - $1600 (inner richmond)

Date: 2011-08-28, 11:16AM PDT
Reply to: sale-ax6hr-2570273242@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

1988 or 1989 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra in rare Domex/Weinmann team colors. Seat tube 57cm, top tube 57cm, standover height 32 3/8". Columbus SLX tubing, BB shell stamped B 5019. Frameset is in nice original condition, a few clumsy touchups here & there but honest & clean. A really nice-riding steel collectible classic. Weight as pictured 21 lbs 15 oz.
Full Dura Ace 7400 7-speed: brake levers, brake calipers, shifters, front & rear derailleurs, crankset, bottom bracket, hubs, cassette, seatpost & headset.
Cranks are 172.5mm, chainrings 53 & a later 39 (original 42 included). Cassette is 13-25 w/extra Uniglide cogs.
Handlebars are Cinelli Giro d'Italia 64-40 (40cm ctc), Stem is Cinelli XA, 120mm length. Saddle is an original Selle Italia Turbo with a 91 date code. Rims are freshly-built Wolber Super Champion Alpine, no brake wear on anodizing. Tires are barely-used Continental Ultra Race. Cables are fresh Jagwire in grey. Chain is a low-miles SRAM PC-890. No pedals included but I have a pair of scuffed but period-correct Shimano Dura Ace PD-7401 available with cleats for an extra $50.
Have a look at the photos & feel free to email me with any questions (please provide a phone #). The bike can be seen in SF's Inner Richmond or North Berkeley by arrangement.

It also appears that the decals are silver and not gold, indicating a 1988 "Standard" Paramount. It would have had a decal noting the anniversary, but it is not the limited edition bike.

You are correct Bob, good eye. Now that I look at it closer, the headset on the anniversary model was black and had Paramount embossed in white. This is definitely a standard Paramount. I sure hope someone doesn't get suckered on this.

Vintage 60's Raleigh Grand Prix Racing 10 Speed Bicycle in nice shape. This is a fast racing bike 24 inch frame and every thing works tires hold air its ready to ride. No kick stand these bikes did not come with them. I replaced seat the other was so painful on butt and wheels and new tires the other wheels were alum
and I put steel wheels on it because of ruff streets. $200.00 OBO Thanks for looking.

Serotta Colorado Road Bike - $750 (Oak Park)

Date: 2011-08-29, 2:02PM EDT
Reply to: sale-vehtu-2571866478@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Serotta Colorado Road Bike

Super light, very comfortable, very speedy, hand built in the USA (unlike so many of the bikes out there today) . I love this bike, but it has seen little use in the last year and I can't really justify something this fancy anymore.

Specs:
Frame: 56cm Serotta Colorado AL - Aluminum w/ titanium drop-outs and Serotta F1 carbon fork - Definitely a step above the aluminum frames that Trek, Specialized, Cannondale, Giant, Raleigh, etc. are putting out
Front Wheel - Bontrager Race
Rear Wheel - Mavic open pro rims laced to Shimano Ultegra hubs
Headset €" Shimano Dura Ace 1€ Threaded
Brakeset - Shimano 105 Dual Pivot brakes
Shift Levers - Shimano Ultegra STI
Front Derailleur - Shimano 105
Rear Derailleur - Shimano Ultegra
Crankset - Shimano 105, 39/53 teeth
Rear Cog €" Shimano 105 10-speed, 12 - 25 teeth
Seatpost - Bontrager Carbon
Saddle - Bontrager Race w/Hollow cromoly rails
Handlebar - Bontrager Race VR OS
Stem - Bontrager Race OS

Photos - https://www.flickr.com/photos/2478519...7624572335990/

$750obo
will consider part/accessory trades for a higher end 80's racing bike (not particular on brand, something lightweight with shimano 105/600/dura ace, campy, or higher end suntour) to cut down the price or perhaps trade straight up if it's nice enough

Jon
