Annual trip for us that work together. All self supported and tenting it, between 250-325 miles in a long weekend

I came south from northern VT starting on 9/12. Two weeks on the road. Definitely too early for color this year. In fact, many days were unseasonably warm all the way through SW Massachusetts into New York.

It's cranberry harvest season here in the PNW. I took these pics October 12 last year.

If you look at that chain closely, you'll notice it is wedged in the spokes. That happened right at the end of the race, resulting in a few hundred feet of running up to the line.

I think all the mud on the cassette caused the chain to jump off the cog and into the spokes - I'm lucky nothing broke. I had to take the cassette off to get the chain out.

I was wondering if it was OR. In 2005 I stayed in a town along the Columbia that processed a lot of cranberries during Cycle Oregon. Think it was The Dalles.

I live in Philly. There are a good number of bogs not that far away in S. Jersey, but I haven’t ridden through that area in a long time.

Didn’t look closely at the bike and thought it had some trick camo-wrap.

while it’s starting to get chilly there hasn’t been much color change yet here in German Alabama. I will say though that carp season has started with a bang and before to long it’ll be all Lebkuchen, Glühwein, and Christmas markets!

Is that a wood pile (for burning) or some sort of fence/wall on the right?
