Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mulching blade might have put an end to that.

Gotta take the plug out before you put your hands in there even if turned off.

It didn't limit him at all, he owned a successful business, raced drag boats and built his own hulls, and built race engines and street engines doing a lot of the machine work himself including valve work.

There are four Bs, not one. If I loosen it and the whole thing comes apart, I'm sending you the repair bill.

Pfft - cap is only for pre-load; if the stem is properly tightened, you could completely remove the cap to no ill affect.

If you loosen it enough to turn the cap and the whole thing falls apart, you have bigger problems.

Correct. The B's being quartered would forever having me adjust them, so that's out for me. I have to settle for the B above the split.

This. My buddy didn't get that and thought I was trying to kill him. Once I explained that, he came around. He was talking about Loctite on that bolt so it didn't come loose.

Cyclist Killed On Cedar Bluff Road

A Knoxville cyclist was run over by a monster truck yesterday afternoon. A witness said he was frantically trying to correct his steering wheel seconds before impact. The cause of the bicycle malfunction was not immediately known.

The truck driver was not cited.

Just slapped my 2022 tires on the Cervelo. I took a cut to my front tire yesterday and decided to retire the Michelin and move on to the Pirelli. Went on happy slappy - just hands and a floor pump to get 'em mounted and seated. Didn't even take long enough to finish my bike maintenance beer - hurrumph.

You've seen the flappity flap jerseys - do you think that increase in drag is going to register?

Needs a black bar clamp as well. The mismatch is discomforting. Makes you ask what else was cobbled together.

Why is the camera for the "highlights" in the end zone, 40 yards away from the line of scrimmage?

This is where it's at.

Why do we assume there was a bicycle malfunction? Sounds like the truck driver has lost control of his vehicle, since he was "frantically trying to correct his steering wheel".
