Wheel Rim ID

I recently bought a set of vintage wheels and hubs to replace a pair of MAVIC tubular wheels on a Mercier I am currently working on. Having dismantled the replacement wheels and having had them rebuilt professionally, I am trying to identify the rim brand. They were advertised as Shimano but, whilst the hubs certainly are, I doubt that the rims are Shimano. Both rims have the remnants of what appears to be an oval decal which has been completely bleached out. It looks like it is vinyl and is fairly thick. Having researched I have seen both Ambrosia and Rapida with oval decals although the Rapida look a little bigger than what remains of mine.

Any ideas?

I have looked at the Rapida Competition decals but they looked a bit larger and I would have expected there to be some remnants of the red colouring. Having said that, I don't know whether they have been left outside in the sun. The Ambrosia decals I have seen appear to be black on a silver background but I haven't been able to get a good picture of an original.

------

suggest a possible start would be to look at all of the UKAI and Araya labels you can find...

Look like they could well be a UKAI rims although it does appear they had their spec scribed on the rim and my rims are devoid of any markings

I have a somewhat associated query that someone might be able to assist with. The wheels I recently purchased had a 6 speed cassette which was 13T to 24T in an anodised gold. The largest sprocket had a slightly shorter tooth every 6th tooth, clearly by design. Does anyone know what this design is for and what brand the cassette may be. It has no markings so I am assuming it is low end stuff.
