Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i frequently thought about catching and overtaking Big John in post count, since we were so close. That stress is now off the table. The nasty run-ins I had with some over the years. Gone. If the mods keep a list of troublemakers, I get a fresh start. Seedsbelize is/was assuredly on that list. I'm sure there are other advantages.

Are you going to hit the brakes and let him run into you, or are you going to stand on it and widen the gap?

I like cats okay, but I was fine being a dog-only house. However, as usual, my opinion carries very little weight with my wife and daughters.

Our daughter has a male dog that is about 85 lbs at less than a year. Thing is part Pyrenees. Wilson is about as chill as a dog can be, but he sure commands a lot of space. And, when he acts like a dog, he acts like a big dog. She wanted a mid-sized mix rescue, but ended up with him. It gives me some comfort knowing that when she is out with him at the park, etc., nobody is going to jack with her without shooting him first. While kind and laid back, he is protective of her.

Little Willie -

We have a very small 9 pounder that takes very little space, and when she acts like a dog the consequences are not nearly as big. She's afraid of her own shadow, and when she barks it's with her tail wagging. Don't think she's ever bared her teeth with a growl. Works for us.

He is! He's racing 50+, so we got to race together a few times because our fields are mixed. He's doing well.

Funny. Lotus is a 40 pounder, and that's considered a mini. I'm OK with her being a bit smaller.
