Are these 460s? If so, see my listing in the C&V Sales subforum.

Does it have to be Shimano?

I have two sets of Huret and two sets of Suntour stem shifters, one of the Suntour sets is the ratchet kind ("Power Shifter").

Pretty sure I have one of the Shimano units: PM me. I also have one of the SunTour units (but you are NOT looking for that, or is it a second choice?) but the set I have has been "customized" with bent levers. I can add a pic of that here, I think. It may not be everyone's cuppa tea, but PM on that one, too, if it is yours.

FOUND

ISO
Forged horizontal drop out with Campy style derailleur hanger.

Anyone have a crashed or broken frame they'd be willing to cannibalize so I can make my recently acquired Raleigh Competition frame whole again? Someone hacked the Huret hanger off of it, since it's no longer "original" I have no feelings of guilt in repairing it with a non-original hanger but I do want an integral hanger back on it.

Thanks.

Simplest thing to do is cut a claw hanger and braze that bit on:

I have this one I'm glad to hack off and send for the cost of postage (it's from a wrecked SR frame, most of which is already cut up).

I had the same issue with my '74 Crescent. My local frame builder had NOS Campy hangers he could braze on. He filed the "wound" clean then filed the hanger to the length I asked for. Lined it up beautifully and kept the chain stay and seat stay wrapped in wet rags to minimize paint damage. IIRC he used a silver brazing material (silver solder???) as it was strong but melts at a lower temperature, again minimize paint damage. Came out just great and has held AOK for about 7 years and many miles now.

Good luck with yours.

That would be perfect! I want the whole DO not just the hanger though so the guy doing it can use it for reference to position the hanger. At work right now will PM when I get home.

Got a nice ball burnished GT frame and would like a piston stem for it if possible. Already have an inquiry in with another member but including one here as well.

Long shot - like I need another project - BUT...

...I'd be curious if anyone happens to come across a frameset designed for a Cyclo two-bolt RD. 58-60cm, preferably.

Just leaving this here in case anyone sees it in future.

ISO Paramount frame 22 inch c-t

I'm in search of a Paramount frame, 22 inch center to top, prefer 60s to mid 70s, original paint. Let me know if you have such a thing.

Thanks

TA 344 bottom bracket spindle needed. According to the chart on this page it has an overall length of 118.5mm. (though the math would seem to indicate that it should be 116.5mm.)

edit: It would appear from further research that the overall length for the spindle I seek could be either 116.5mm or 114.5mm.

I have a TA 373 spindle (120mm overall length) to trade, also many other trade items, mostly French and Italian.

I have a small collection of spindles, one of which is TA IIRC. I can check but I make no promises, no promises at all.

If @jimmuller can't find one in his pile, I do have a TA 344. Raceways have surface rust though (can dunk it in oxalic acid to see if it clears up), and I think one side may need to be polished due to light pitting. Not sure; will know after OA.

If it sounds interesting, let me know.

Sorry, Brent. The TA I have is a nutted spindle which measures 127mm shoulder to shoulder, i.e. not counting the threads. It was intended for the tandem, IIRC.

Thanks Kurt. I'm interested, but before you go to any trouble please measure the overall length. From the research I've done it should be either 114.5mm or 116.5mm, but looking carefully at the spindle I have in hand I discovered the numbers "344" lightly engraved in one of the flats, but my spindle measures 120mm. It would appear that the specifications changed over time.
