Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For some strange reason, some people keep little rodents as pets. Regardless, small birds and rodents are prey for cats, so I couldn't hold it against them.

Stopped by Whole Foods for some wine and a burrito for lunch then took a nap with kitty.
Woke up and cooked chicken breasts with Dijon and made an arugula salad.
A friend stopped by to drop off some things, including a popular cat toy which Stephen now loves. We chatted for a while at a safe distance.
Then I watched some more episodes of the first season of The Wire.

My R3 certainly came with a chain stay protector - it's hard plastic with adhesive backing, though; wouldn't be confused with tape.

The top two look like behind the lever bar tape chunks and the bottom two look like bar tape finishing tape. The middle one could be chainstay protection.

Well until I can get the above mentioned tape, I think I’ll put some painters tape in that area so it doesn’t ruin the finish.

The good news is that what you're seeing right now is most likely just some light grit that'll wipe away; it's not likely that any damage has been done.

I was gunna mount my cycling computer to the chain stay and fork with zip ties, and reason for not doing this?

Also with regards to the chain stay, It came like Whyfi’s R3, it’s plastic.

My R2 definitely came with a sheet of clear plastic frame protectors. I'd rather not be clear though - I've never had a mechanic who didn't get a fingerprint under one anyway.

I can understand rodents better than spiders and snakes. At least rodents can feel affection - a "pet" tarantula cannot. It's not a pet, it's a captive.

In the end, I was too tired for a documentary last night so we watched Westworld. I was too tired for that too apparently because I fell asleep while Mr H watched it and am more confused than ever now.

The might minis chased some Canadian geese off at the park this morning, Gutsy really since the geese outweigh the dogs. Hope we don't get cited for menacing a protected species.

Maybe for 1-2 days, tops. If pain not resolving you need to see your hand specialist.

I see her every third day, to have the dressing changed. As I was getting ready to be released from the hospital, I asked my surgeon for a plaster cast (they are still common here). That was when he informed me of the three day plan, and the near complete non-activity plan.

Hot
At least the top tube is straight.

However, the thing is so much more fun, responsive, and measurably fast than my updated classic, that I would ride it if it had a banana seat and streamers.
