Yes, as long as it fits you. Just make sure to give it a quick test ride if possible.

In my market run don't walk. In other markets it would depend on your plans for it.

It appears to be a 1985 Raleigh Supercourse. If so, the hidden derailleurs are 1st generation Shimano 105 (aka Golden Arrow). Normally, this would be worth more than $100 US, but it is looking fairly rough cosmetically, so as well the size, I'd be checking over the mechanical condition very closely.

If it fits you, appears manageable in condition upon inspection, and if the seatpost isn't stuck, do it.

I see you're in Idaho which is probably where the bike is and good thing, because I'd snap it up for $100.

What's that movie, "Gone in 60 Seconds"? that's what it would be in my location. You don't have time to hesitate.

Totally worth it for the parts if in fair shape.

However, these had a penchant for the chrome being freckled with rust. Fork is usually the worst.

Frame was a bit small, at 56 cm. Wife asked why I'm all pee-pee faced.

No, it was too small, or I certainly would have. That's why I was pee-pee face all day. It really looked like a nice bike at a nice price.

It's still for sale. If he can't dispose of it for $100, I probably can't sell it for more than that!

Sorry for going off topic but what the hell is going on with the Toronto / GTA market.

I just don't get the lack of of respect for mid and high end USA Ralieghs riding great mostly hand made in Portland frames with good components about half US and half better Japan . I have owned and road several of there bikes currently have a Tech MTB 200 as a regular rider
