Anybody on here riding around in Fort Langley?

I'm not talking to the "Peloton" riders that drive me crazy, riding at 10 miles an hour, chatting while riding 3 or 4 abreast. I'm looking for folks like me who ride for fun and know it. Ride with the knowledge that we are not the only ones on the road when we have to be on the road and avoid it when we can.

I have a bike now that is capable of road or trail and I'm looking for riders that want to log some kms and have some fun along the way. Fort Langley, Pitt Meadows or close by.

Was there more to the question/post? Do live in Fort Langley and are you looking for riders to ride some road routes out there? Or are you located in Vancouver and looking to ride from YVR to the Fort, etc.?

Meeting up for group rides ride now is kind of dicey with the whole Covid situation. I am not saying it can't be done, but Covid does put a wrinkle in group rides.

I absolutely LOVE riding in the Fort Langley area. I moved up to Canada in late summer 2016 from Colorado since my parents lived in Walnut Grove and I wanted to be closer to them as they aged (and also to escape the *gestures wildly* of what's going on down south). Being able to bike on the Fort to Fort trail was one of the things that truly grabbed my heart and pulled me towards Canada and even towards buying my first adult bike.

Also, anyone notice how the signage on the Fort to Fort has kind of been rebranded lately as being part of the larger Canyon to Coast trail? I really can't wait for that to be one long, connected trail. My wife and I love bike touring trips and it would be awesome to go all the way to the ocean!

Also ride there about once a month, usually with our club (Fraser River Fuggitivi [FRF]) but I agree with NoWhammies that joining new folx to ride with has been harder during COVID.

Depends on the type of bike that you have. The Fort to Fort trail is a really wonderful ride if you can go on off-road type situations (still very flat and not difficult on most bikes). Another easy option is to do a loop between Allard Crescent / 208 St / and 96 Ave. Take a look at Google Maps and you should be able to see that it's just a giant loop with Derby Reach park as a wonderful stop/finish point.
