Here is my 1974 Raleigh Grand Prix. It has been ridden all over town and also usedon a trainer during the off season. I have a couple of recumbents and a kit DF that was converted to an e-bike. The challenge the past couple of years has been finding time to ride. We have gotten together with some relatives and ridden the Katy Trail in Missouri and part of the Great River Trail in Illinois. On the long rides I prefer a 'bent. Here is my '74. There are more at: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rbykiwtj3...

1974 Raleigh Grand Prix. Jus had the bearings repacked a couple of years ago and the bike tuned up.

Took this old girl out for a long ride along the lake and saw people taking a selfie on the pier as the waves splashed up, so thought why not?

Perhaps not artsy...but with Halloween approaching I submit this 12 foot tall big boned dude I came across at Home Depot in the Halloween decorations section.

Standing in front of this thing with the shining eyes and twice as tall as me I'm glad it's made of plastic and not flesh and bone...well forgot the flesh part.

Some say at one time in the history of the world there were such tall beings.

Also the price was $300 bones/dollars!

It was already sold.

Oh yeah, the bike...

i like the National Sports water bottle and frame-matching CCM helmet. A very "From Here to Eternity" vibe with the waves splashing up. Which part of the GWN are you in?

True Canuck symbols eh? ha ha
Shame that National Sports went under. Bought a lot of hockey equipment and clothing there.

I'm west of the GTA, close to the lake. This shot was taken off the Hamilton beach which has a great paved MUP trail all along the water front right out to Stoney Creek.

You know it brother! In addition to the lights on the bike I'm wearing a high viz reflective vest. This was from my commute home last night.

The bike has a headlamp AND a flasher facing front. Flashing L.E.D. in the middle, rear facing one on the seat stay, plus a tail light.

It doesn't all show up in the pic, but on dark streets it certainly helps.

Thanks for noticing
