Four erg rides (60–90 minutes) and one longer road ride per week. Default distance for road rides is 60 miles, but I'll do 40 miles on a rest week, longer if I'm riding a brevet or feeling my oats.

Retired. 77. Much depends on Wyoming wind and weather. 2-4 times a week, 25-45 miles per ride.

Retired 66. Goal is 400 a month. Ride about 6 days a week. With the weather change, it will mostly move indoors.

I'm 62 and will be retired within 40 days. Pre-government shutdowns and restrictions, I bike commuted, so rode 4-5 days per week for an hour and a half or so. Now with telecommuting, I ride when I feel that it adds to my fitness routine. This may be 3-4 days per week for an hour, give or take.

At retirement and after the re-location that will immediately occur, I expect that we'll be quite busy with projects to get the new house/garage shop in order. There may still be 3-4 bike rides per week exploring our new environs. We'll see...

I'm 49 and part of my job involves cycling so I'm doing that Monday-Friday, but I don't own a car, so cycling is my mode of transport and a source of recreational enjoyment, so I find it hard to force myself to have a day off.

I know I'll get frazzled if I don't have any days off, so try and have a day off a month. I did break a rib earlier in the year in a cycling crash, so had 2 weeks of no cycling then, which is the longest time off I've had in years. I was told to have 6-8 weeks off but got really bad cabin fever and just had to get out on the bike, I think it put my recovery back a bit, but for me the mental health benefit of getting out of the house every day outweighed the physical recovery set back.

I just had a look and since 1st July I've cycled 115 of the 118 days since then, and cycled 2807 miles in that time, so figure I'm due another day off soon, but should break the 8000 miles for the year. I hate public transport so hope to keep it going for a few more decades yet!

If an event or multi day adventure is in the future I can dial it up. Just wondering how much the older riders ride in a typical week?
I am 83 and I try to ride about 20 miles every other day, weather willing. I find a recovery day in between works best.
