BBBB Ride the Finale!
The BBBB ride is done!! Everyone rode superbly all 3 days which helped to make it a great trip. The High Point folks always do it right. We had 104 miles today from Tarboro to New Bern. I had 316 miles for the 3 days of riding.
We packed a ton of stuff into today’s ride. Not many folks can say they’ve used a Veterinary Clinic as a rest stop! Sam Jones BBQ for lunch was a huge hit. Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston was another rest stop.
Somewhere in between we got caught in another rain storm but thankfully a shed we could squeeze under was close to the road. The winds pushed against us for a while which wasn’t fun but they really calmed down after the storm went by.
This was the first time I’ve done a multi day ride and not added air to my tires. They seemed to do just fine…..although I put more air than normal in them starting out on Day 1.
Finished off the day with a celebratory dinner at Captain Rattys in New Bern. Another self supported multi day tour in the books!!

So who organized the ride? Is it just a group of friends?
