Looking at a 2019 Trek Domane SLR Rim Brake
Local bike shop has the above frameset at a great price. I got a buggered up Madone, so just about all the components will transfer over. I’m looking for thoughts, opinions, or advice before I pull the trigger.

Assuming it's the correct frame size, you can check the frame geometry to see if you think you'll be comfortable on it.

Thanks all for the feedback. I’m riding a 58cm right now, a little tall for me, mostly the reach. Figuring the 56 will be a better fit. I realize the Domane is more aggressive than the Madone. That’s ok, I’m looking to reduce road buzz, so the iso-speed and the ability to fit 28mm tires I think will work.

You will love it. I have a Madone and 2 Domanes, well, just one now since I broke a frame on one but another is on order. The Madone is rim brake and definitely faster both perceived and actual, but, to me, the Domane is more comfortable and more fun.

I pulled the trigger on it! Local shop had it for $1400, got it through BikeExchange for $100 less. The only thing I’ll need to get is a set of direct mount calipers and BB bearings.
