Addiction 2022.2

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

I feel for you. My father used to say that he felt like he was dying off one piece at a time and I've come to understand what he meant.

Back from monthly eye penetration this morning.

My kid is a sax player so he was not in the running for one of those groups. As a result, I've never followed them much. Just always thought it was kind of cool that some of the kids I knew from his high school days were good enough to be a part of those groups. FYI: Generally only the bass and snare drum play with the beat. The other instruments do their own thing.

I hope all the instruments play with the beat. Otherwise you'd have a genuine cacophony.

PS, you don't need the vibes, marimba or bells to have a band. You do need a bass drum, snare, triangle, and, of course, more cowbell.
