Anyone deal with this online shop?

https://www.storesportinggoods.com/

Or are they just another false front out there?

Like I say every time we see another thread like this if you are already mistrustful of this place don't do business with them. I wouldn't do business with them I decided to open the link and the first thing I saw was "Cheap Klein Tools..." that is never a good sign.

Good idea find a place that has an actual brick and mortar location that you can call and visit and anything too good to be true isn't true. I know we all want cheap cheap cheap but this stuff costs money and costs more money to fight fakes and frauds.

Their address appears to be a Wal Mart in Vegas.

Random product offerings, product descriptions obviously cut and pasted from online sources, dubious location, apparent difficulty with language of the country they're doing business in . . . There are so many red flags here. What were you planning to buy from them anyway?

What caught my eye was short kickstands, we use them for donated kids bikes when training wheels come off, it is the Bell Bracer 100 model

Just buy an inexpensive aluminum kickstand from a trusted source and use a hacksaw to cut it down.

That "Bell Bracer 100" can be found from many places apparently so just do a search for the best price and a trusted seller.

They're "About Us" says their corporate office is in Montgomery, AL but the address is a Walmart in Las Vegas, NV, and they have a $2300 go cart listed for $93...and I gleaned all that just from the first page of their site. Those aren't just red flags, that's flashing red warning lights complete with blaring claxon horns.

The alloy Greenfield stands that most bike shops sell are easily cut to size using a hacksaw or sawzall.

If you are looking for kickstands Greenfield is the way to go. Rarely have issues and when we did it got replaced as soon as they could. They aren't expensive but of decent enough quality and if you are doing it to help kids in a co-op you might reach out to them and see if you can get a break on them or maybe even get some donations.

Yes we buy the greenfield KS also and love them but once you cut them there is no going back. By using the Bell Bracer 100 on the smaller bikes, it can be removed and reused for other sizes, especially if we now need training wheels for that bike. We have seen the same bike filter back through our shop several times.

We have reached out directly to Greenfield via email, they have never responded to our inquiry.

Update: We just sent off to them another inquiry about direct sales to us.

I guess you missed it but this is not a Walmart store but someone else falsely using their address.

We actually keep a grinder set up with a cutoff wheel for this.

They probably want you to deal through QBP or J&B.

That caught my eye as a few days ago I typed in a search for Di2 6770 replacement shifter covers and a "shimano bike parts' site popped up
with lots of Shimano parts for ~60-70% of usual retail. The about us part also listed a corporate office in Montgomery AL but the shipping
address was in Kansas. Didn't drill down on the ship address and a re-search no longer shows the site. Does look like a scam now.
