Ultegra pedals PD-R8000
I bought online new pedals ultegra PD-R8000 those are my first spd-sl pedals so I don't have experience. For me those pedals look like have cracks or maybe production errors. But because my account is new i can't post photos. So how was your experience with shimano peals did you saw there like cuts, cracks, breaks in front part of peals.

I had a buddy buy some Ultegra counterfeit pedals on eBay for around $50. The look and packaging was good... almost perfect even. But the pedal body was cheap plastic and the bearings imploded the 2nd ride.
Stick with original and you'll be fine. If there is a problem with true Shimano parts, contact the shop where you purchased and they should help to resolve.

Good to hear. I see that you already have 5 answers. You should keep on with the forum until you reach the threshold where you can post photos and links so that you can share other pertinent information in future questions. I don't ask many questions because I already know some of the answers(joke) but I am usually willing to answer the sort of question that you asked

I think that you're just seeing the edges of overlapping CF swaths.
