no drunkenness, just a holiday party with too many entries in the dessert competition. I rode it off this morning.

I finally found some kanten (agar agar) at a Japanese supermarket. It's a gelatin made from seaweed and it's colorless and tasteless. The idea is that you mix a teaspoon in your coffee or tea and then it expands in your stomach and it fills you up.
They weren't kidding. I feel like I just ate a thanksgiving dinner. Maybe just a half teaspoon next time.

Dropped from 221 in February to 172 about a month ago. 175 now and trying to get into the 160's before January is through. Would like to get to 171 before the 1st so I can say I lost 50 in a year. Taking a crossfit class right now and riding the trainer. My upper body isn't gaining much but my core is alot stronger than when I started so I'm definitely pleased with the results there.

I forgot this morning, running late for a vet appt. I'll put in my number tomorrow. I hope it's a bit better, last few weighs have come in at 159. I'm miles away from my 148 at this rate.

I'd post the "delicious cake" photo, but that'd probably get me a trip to Asbannistan.

it gets easier from here. I just have to maintain now. Which works pretty well since I have difficulty losing weight once the intensity of my workouts increases.

151, and it may get lower next week before i get a layoff of one week at home with no bike. Really haven't lost anything in the last six weeks. Might need to go scorch earth a bit to lose another 2-3 lbs. I really doubt if i can go down to 147 when i need to do all the HIT intervals as surely i'll eat everything in my path.

I'm the opposite I need the hard intensive workouts to shed these last 3-5lbs...I was at 147 (race weight is 143/144) two days after Thankgiving..since then I've been working 70+ hour weeks and I'm 2lbs heavier and my BF went from 8-10%. My biggest weakness is when I'm editing, especially when I get into a groove, I like to snack. Even though it's usually raw almonds or fruit it's still calories and I'm sitting on my arse all day and most of the night. The other issue is that my sleep has gone to hell, I'm only getting a solid 4-5 hours right now.

In the 142lbs now (goal 139lbs). These last 3lbs are going to be a b*tch.
My wife looked at me last night and said "can't you just get a lighter bike?". I suppose the difficulty of loosing your absolute last 3lbs and the expense of lighter equipment are somewhat equivalent.
