Drive or Ride?

So, you've got a group ride 10-15 miles away where you'll be moving at a fast pace for 50 miles, you'll dismember just before dusk, and it'll be dark by the time you get home.
Do you drive to the meeting place or ride?

I think at that point I'd drive home so as not to get too tired for my next ride.
