"Page not found" on Chrome and Opera

For the last four hours this site has not been working on my Chrome and Opera browsers "page not found". I had to log in on my old slow internet explorer. What's the deal?

I cleared my browser cache and I have no issues at all. I use Chrome on a Win10 PC and on my android phone.

I don't have anything bookmarked but the main BF site, so I can't say if any thing is up with bookmarks to specific sub-forums or other links inside BF as in the other thread.

It was like this long ago, and the numbers match up... road biking is 41 and racing is 33. But it has not been this way for years, and all the links posted since and bookmarks and shortcuts are now broken again.

So every link that comes up on Google searches is "page not found" too. Horrible idea

Immediately after I wrote my previous post in this thread the BF website went down entirely for me. Got a timeout trying to connect and isitdownrightnow reported the site as down.

Wasn't back up after my 2hr 45min ride either. Just came up for me after my shower. TMI?

Yeah, my experience is it comes and goes. Hopefully it smoothes out.

Same on my Safari. Cannot connect. No problem with any other site. Glad I’m not the only one.

Yeah, after Sy Reene's reply I read that thread and changed to the new address with the numbers and it worked. But then when I would click the "go" button on the "forum jump" at the bottom of the page I would once again get page not found. After I cleared my cache it was fixed.

Kind of odd.

Can't you FIX THIS? I can flush my cache in Firefox and it works for a little bit, then it comes right back. Maybe you need a new hosting platform.

What do you mean how am I getting to the site? Through my ISP with Firefox on my PC. Through the quick-links -> subscribed threads , I click on either the latest post icon on the left of the thread or
the Last Page link on the right of the thread. Right now I am getting "Page not found" for the "Your Most Recent Cycling-related Purchase" and "Photo of the day -or Week - or- Whatever" threads.

If I go directly to the forums as try to access the last post of those threads n the same manner, same issue. Those are threads with a huge number of posts and and getting to the last post, when those links don;t work is not feasible.

Just tried these threads and had no issues. Try clearing ALL data for all pages on Bike Forums and try.

Any reason for some threads not allowing to view the last couple of pages? When I click on "View last page" for a thread that has multiple pages, it ends up with the "Page not found". If I click on the first page, I can view the thread up to a certain point before the last few pages. Example: https://www.bikeforums.net/general-c...ide-today.html
then clicking thru to later page https://www.bikeforums.net/general-c...l#post22134986 works.
As soon as I try to go to the next page in that thread or any after it, the
"Page not found" happens. [page 91 & 92]

It's a combination of database refresh, deleted posts, and your number of posts you view per page.
