Addiction 2023.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

AQI 192 here. Ride is on but I plan to remind everyone to take it easy. There is one old geezer who rides with us, he is 78 and has COPD. I suggested he may want to skip the ride.

Of course he won’t take my advice.

Hi guys,
Someone flagged my activity because he lost some kom's.... The activity was fine with a road bike and pure POWER to get these kom's. I read in strava support center that if is flagged second time cannot be fixed as fine and normal ride. Is that true? is there any way to get back on the leaderboard?

Maybe we geezers have less to worry about in the long run (sigh). PM2.5 vascular and organ damage is cumulative.

In order to be an entrepreneur-disrupter, one must first learn to be a passive consumer of packaged experience. ...and get used to tight bands around the head.

We had a nice steady breeze out of the south from about 4pm-bedtime (possibly beyond) yesterday, so lots of green!

Maybe someday.

Bills were also considered this year to improve Georgia’s harsh marijuana laws. HB 388, HB 551, and SB 30 would decriminalize possession of modest amounts of cannabis for adults.
Sadly, none of these bills were able to get through the legislative process in 2023.
